MEET THE TREASURE HUNTERS

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I moved to Boise in 2002 to attend BSU.
Go Broncos! I graduated in Dec 2006 and just haven’t found somewhere I love as much as this place. I love how Boise brings the best of all living together—a safe downtown for the city girl in me, a trail along the river for the active outdoor lover, and many rural communities within a short drive for the country girl.
On a more personal note, I love cheese, my camera and my curly hair. My favorite place in Boise is a tie between the Train Depot and Kathryn Albertsons Park. I never pass up the chance to eat at Chapala’s. During the summer I flavor my snow cone with Tigers Blood.

As the Idaho Native I have always had a love and passion for Boise and the outdoors. I love hiking trail, walking the on the Green Belt and enjoying all the parks.

I'm not an Idaho native. I originally hail from Colorado, but came here to go to BSU and stayed after I graduated. I like that the summers are hot and the winters are not that snowy here in the treasure valley. I also love that there is no traffic.
Some more personal info: I love tv, movies, music, books, correcting grammer, telling you why I am always right and of course treasure hunting. I also like hiking, camping and driving. My favorite color is pink and if I were an element I would be water.

ABOUT THE BLOG
The idea for this blog started in the summer. We spent many of our summer evenings finding many of the fun things offered in the Valley. One night I joke about making a blog out of it. It soon became more then just a dream. After designing a logo, and making a list of places to visit this abstract idea became a reality.
Some of the places we will visit might not be much of a surprise to locals. But we hope to uncover many unknown treasures and make a resource to help all Treasures Valley locals and visitors discover more about this great place.
