As I was walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland in Caldwell, I couldn’t help feeling the laid-back small town charm. With local entertainment by carolers (including the Treasure Valley Community College choir), the “highlighting” of a king and queen (an active couple in the community), and firemen handing out hats to kids, this event appealed to all ages. The best part was the tree-lighting… They started out turning on surrounding Christmas lights around the area and ended by lighting up the 14-ton tree. If you have a chance, go check this tree out… it is quite the sight! Between Kimball and 7th on Blaine St. in Caldwell.
